In Antwerp’s famous diamond district, an important collection of diamonds has mysteriously vanished. No trace was left by the thieves. The police are at a loss, every lead has failed. Until someone has the idea to call in… The Geddies.
Originally released in 1995 for DOS, The Geddies makes its return in this faithful remake. Everything looks and sounds exactly as it did back then; the only difference is that the program has been completely rebuilt to run on modern Windows systems.
Guide the quirky Geddies through strange worlds filled with challenges and surprises, just as players did three decades ago.
Avoid traps, keep an eye on the clock, and search every corner.
An adventure full of puzzles, suspense, and surprises, for young and old alike.

Also missing: back in 1995, a second episode of "The Geddies" was released, but sadly, no copy of it seems to have survived. If anyone out there still has a copy tucked away, we’d love to hear from you. It would be wonderful to preserve it for the future.

Install instructions
You can use the installer to install The Geddies on your Windows computer. If you have a really old Windows version (like XP) or if you don't like installers, or even if you want to play the game on Linux, there's also a zip-version available.
Note: Windows may warn you of an “Untrusted Publisher” of this software. That’s because I cannot afford an official certificate yet, being an indie dev. The game doesn't contain any malware. It even doesn't contain any ads, it's completely free! Have fun!
