A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

“Another remarkable game from Idee Software. Clearly based on the famous Lemmings, but better and especially more beautifully drawn. (…) Yes, this game is highly recommended!”
(UptoByte on Mormels)

Originally released in 1997, Mormels makes its first-ever appearance in English, 28 years later.

The Mormels are odd fantasy beings with oversized beards and a knack for getting into trouble. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses, and they need your guidance to find the way out.

On a sunny day, Camilla, the daughter of the leader of the Mormels, was walking in a meadow. Suddenly, the evil wizard Sordad appeared out of nowhere. Sordad took her away to serve as a housekeeper in his castle. It is up to you to rescue Camilla from the castle of the evil wizard Sordad.

In Mormels you can switch between all six characters, each with unique skills. One might clear a passage, another can build a bridge, while yet another can trigger objects. By controlling them one by one in the right order, you create the chain of actions that leads the entire group safely to the exit.

This makes Mormels more than just a clone of Lemmings. It is a clever twist that combines character-based puzzling with the charm of direct control.

With its playful melodies and catchy rhythms, the soundtrack captures the carefree spirit of 90s gaming and makes the world of the Mormels feel alive.
